Usually, this pseudonym was used by Lou Gold; however, sometimes it also refers to other bands (Sam Lanin, Bob Haring and others), it was actually impossible to identify the orchestra we are hearing on this beautiful 1930 recording. Personally, I would guess the orchestral sound is most similar to Bob Haring's but again, this is merely a guess. The only certainty here is the vocalist, William Robyn. it is said his true name was Ruben and that later, he was a cantor in New York synagogue.
