From noise of honking cars, Punjabi music and a mention of Hindi gods, spirituality and Bollywood, the renowned British funny man Russell Brand, ensured that his performance in India was a laughter riot. Mr. Brand was in the country as a part of LIVE Viacom18 Comedy Central Chuckle Festival’s second edition on Friday night.
He started with a Punjabi song “Mundian Tu Bachke” and ended with a Namaste. Adorned by rudraksh strings and signs of Lord Krishna and wearing a sleeveless tee, the funny man addressed the crowd with Hare Krishna. He also spoke few Hindi words, but in good spirit. He said he likes the King of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan as he is a self-made man.
