Recently Palestinian youth have organized social media pages calling on Palestinians to rise up against the Israeli occupation. The pages are called “stab and run over.” The call has elicited support from people in Gaza who say that the youth are fighting back against their occupiers with the only weapons they have at hand. On Wednesday morning Israeli media reported that a Palestinian woman in Ramallah was shot by Israeli police, critically wounded and arrested on charges of stabbing an Israeli soldier, whose wounds were described as moderate.
