A dramatic video has posted online of a skier being dragged down a mountain by an avalanche in Slovakia.
The freeride skier was making his way down the exposed northeast face of Chopok mountain when he set off the avalanche. The skier was able to deploy his avalanche air bag which kept his head above the snow. A few moments later his friends arrived to dig him out of the deep snow.
Luckily, he suffered no injuries and was able to ski back to the nearby Jasná ski resort.
