Ndërsa kryeministri i Kosovës ndodhet ne Bruksel, për te marre pjese ne takimin e trete me homologun e tij serb Ivica Daçiç, ku do te angazhohen për zbatimin e marrëveshjes për menaxhimin e integruar te kufijve, ne veri te Kosovës serbet kane nisur një proteste paqësore, por qe mund te përshkallëzoje nga çasti ne çast. Mbi 200 qytetare serbe janë grumbulluar ne Jarinje, konkretisht ne zonën magjistrale Leposavic-Rashke, ku bashke me makinat e tyre kane bllokuar këtë zone.
Tubuesit te nxitur nga strukturat paralele serbe, qe jane denoncuar publikisht nga Prishtina zyrtare, protestojnë ndaj menaxhimin te integruar te kufijve, zbatimi i te cilit nis me dhjete dhjetor. Ndërkaq edhe trupat ndërkombëtare paqeruajtëse mësohet se janë ne gatishmëri për ndërhyrje. Ndërkaq, Thaçi dhe Daçiç mbajnë sot takimin e trete nen ndërmjetësimin e përfaqësueses për politike te jashtme Catherine Ashton. Zbatimi i pakteve te nënshkruara mes dy vendeve, përfshi këtu edhe kufijtë te firmosur ne muajin shkurt, janë nder kriteret kryesore te kërkuara ne progres raportin e KE-se për avancimin e Serbisë dhe Kosovës drejt BE-se. Një dite me pare, parlamenti evropian diskutoi raportet për dy vendet, te cilat do te miratohen me 9 janar, ku nder te tjera u kërkoi atyre zbatimin e pakteve te arritura ne Bruksel.
