Pas kërcënimeve dhe fyerje qe pasuan kundërshtimin qe kisha ortodokse i beri rezultateve te censusit. Kryepeshkopi i Shqipërisë Anastas Janullatos ka reaguar ne nje interviste per gazetën greke qe publikohet ne diasporën greke ne SHBA, "Ethniko Kirika", duke deklaruar se nuk ka frike nga kërcënimet e aleancës Kuqezi. Kleriku i larte tha se këto fyerje vijnë nga një grup i vogël politik me program nacionalist, si Aleanca, ndërsa shtoi se ky nuk është një opinion qe ndajnë gjithë shqiptaret.
I pyetur ne lidhje me kërcënimet dhe kërkesat për t'u larguar nga Shqipëria, Anastas tha se këto janë vetëm zëra, qe vijnë nga njerëz qe hiqen si te forte por qe nuk e frikësojnë aspak. Gjate intervistës Kryepeshkopi tha se nuk ka ndërmend qe te kërkoje një takim me kryeministrin për këto fyerje qe sipas tij cenojnë harmoninë fetare ne Shqipëri. Kisha ortodokse ne Shqipëri kundërshti rezultatet e censusit, me argumentin se këto te dhëna nuk pasqyronin realitetin konkret ne Shqipëri. Ky qëndrim është pasuar nga reagimi i përfaqësuesve te Aleancës Kuq e Zi, te cilët fyen dhe kërkuan largimin e Janullatos nga Shqipëria.
