Kur shqiptaret po i rikthehen ngrohjes me dru, kërkesat per lenden drusore jane shtuar edhe nga vendet fqinje. Vetëm vitin e fundit jane eksportuar nga vendi yne 60 mije metër kub dru zjarri ku shtete me te interesuara janë Greqia dhe Italia. Por a ka individë apo firma fantazme qe kryejnë kontrabandën e lendes drusore me jashtë? Drejtues te ministrisë se Mjedisit e përjashtojnë kete fenomen te paktën ne eksport pasi sipas tyre janë ashpërsuar masat edhe nga doganat. Por ministria e Mjedisit nuk përjashton shfrytëzimin e paligjshëm te pyjeve kryesisht nga individë. Drejtori i përgjithshëm i Pyjeve Arsen Proko tregon se me te demtuar nga ndërhyrjet dhe prerjet e paligjshme jane pyjet e Bizes ne Tiranës, ne Devoll, Dibër dhe Burrel. Shqipëria ka 1.5 milion hektarë sipërfaqe pyjore prej te cilave 50% administrohet nga pushteti vendor, 35% nga shteti dhe 15% është zone e mbrojtur.
