Thousands of protesters built a human chain starting from Place de la Republique in Paris inlace of the banned Global Climate March that was due to be held in the capital later today. A ban on public gatherings is enforced by French authorities after the Paris attacks on Friday, November 13. Organisers say the action does not violate the ban and is not meant as an act of civil disobedience.
