There is a legend in brazilian countryside about a giant serpent that lives in Cantagalo hills, Minas Gerais... This dangerous animal has a rooster crest and beak, roams at night through the hills until it finds a prey attacking it and killing it after a demonic rooster scream that echoes at dawn...

Scenery elements were inspired by Maia architecture. I know they lived in central america, but it was a very recognizable way to link the legend with an ancient latin america period. Otherwise I was looking for a very famous architec style I could possibly use for the theme...
