New Delhi, April 22 (ANI): Amid the controversy surrounding upcoming comedy drama Santa Banta Pvt. Ltd. lead actor Boman Irani has come out and clarified that the movie has got nothing to do with the Santa-Banta jokes and does not hurt anybody's religious sentiments in any way. A petition was filed against 'Santa Banta Pvt Ltd' earlier this month by Punjab Cultural Heritage Board president Charan Singh Sapra and others claiming that the film depicts the Sikh community in poor light and it could pose a threat to public order. However, the Bombay High Court refused to grant an interim stay on the release of the film. The film which is slated to release on the 22nd of April also stars standup comedian Vir Das in the lead role along with Neha Dhupia, Lisa Haydon, Johnny Lever, Ram Kapoor and Sanjay Mishra.
