Madhya Pradesh, May 14 (ANI): Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on Saturday paid a visit to the world famous Sanchi Stupa in Madhya Pradesh along with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The stupa is the oldest stone structure in India, originally commissioned by the emperor Ashoka. Sirisena arrived in New Delhi yesterday afternoon on a two-day visit, expected to contribute to further strengthening the close and cooperative relations between India and Sri Lanka.
