Jayaram did make a comeback to hits, after a series of flops, with the film Aadupuliyattam, which had an above average run at the box-office. The film, directed by Kannan Thaamarakkulam, was a horror-thriller and the film had Jayaram in an all new avatar. It was recently that the team of Aadupuliyattam celebrated the 100 days of run of the film, indicating the success that the film enjoyed.
