Before your time as a "full-time" artist Christine Dumbsky worked as Creativ manager A&R in the music publishing house Touch & Go Music (information administered of Warner/Chappell: www.touchandgo.com) with the emphasis international songplugging.
As a free lance artist Christine Dumbsky shows her paintings since approx. 1996 at the world wide web. This was the beginning of the main concentration on painting. Christine was one of the first artists at all showing her works there. Her web page had visitors in this time over 2 million. The internet was the platform for international contacts and made it possible to set up world-wide exhibitions among other interesting projects. Thus the artist issued 1999 in New York on the Woodstock Revival festival 1999. The exhibition "ART WALL" took place there on the "Art and Sculpture park". Christine's paintings, works of Bob Kennedy and Elliott Landy among other artists where shown there. Togehter with the "original Woodstock photograph " Elliott Landy, who photographed the rock legends Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison uvm. on the first Woodstock 1969, Christine did photo projects back in Germany afterwards.
The "Artwall" at the art- and Sculpture park, took place togehter with the "GET TOGETHER"- Woodstock 99 exhibition. instead of (with works of art of Robert Rauschenberg and Andy Warhol).
In the same year the exhibition moved back to Germany to the International Funkausstellung/Berlin. The gallery Fine Art/New York, who also organized the exhibition in New York initiated also this exhibition.
One year before Chrisitne's paintings were choosen for the release for the American card game "Behind Closed Doors - For women only, men not allowed" of the American company "Intimate Details". The contact with the company came off over the internet. The firm boss Orna Banan looked for suitable artists and pictures for evenly this play. The decision fell on the pictures of Christine. The combination of her works with this play pleased Mrs. Banan, particularly the artist predominantly woman paints. Mrs. Banan also had the idea to develop a pack of cards mainly for lesbian women.
In 2002 Christine was invited by der Hua Cui Chinese Artists Community to show her works in China at an international. exhibition. The exhibit took place close of the town Tianjin - with millions of inhabitants -in the Huan Ya Guan Great barrier & Castle. As the only German artists she was represented beside Chinese and other art-creatives and art professors from the USA, Finland, Austria and Japan. High-ranking politicians, among Mr. Sun Zhenqing, the Chief Governor of Ji Xian County, were at the opening of the exhibition. In January 2002 Christine Dumbsky became honorary member for her commitment and contribution for the extension of the relations between Chinese and western art.She was locally accompanied by a photo journalist for a photo report.
2002 Christine were represented on the Expo in Switzerland. From this contact later her child project with a child book authoress developed for Swiss. Together with the authoress Christine developed a history for a childrens book. 2007 a toy company let her design a figure for one of their toy-lines.
2003/2004 Young & Free festival (patronage bav. ministry of culture and education) One year later she co-operated for a "Photostream" (make-up and Bodypainting) for HEWLETT PACKARD with the famous photographers Elliott Landy (Woodstockfotograf) and Douglas Kirkland (star photographer Hollywood) on Teneriffa.
In the same year the artist worked for art projects such as e.g. "ART on CARS" for a tourism agency or the "ART on zebra" of the MSV Duisburg.
2006 she took part at the festival of color/Freiburg. She also had artistic contributions on several book projects and publications such as "Madonna in Art"/England, book cover of the poet Louis McKee "Near Occasion OF Sin" the USA and Karla Houston "A theory of lipstick" also for the swiss publisher Neptun. As well as live-performances for BodyArt for various clients such as Degussa/BASF, var. Color-Companies, several offices of culture among others.
Beside the painting work the artist today also does Bodypainting, with these art-on-skin-works she already also had numerous releases, such as e.g. in the Bild, Penthouse, TV-Sünde, RTL, SAT1, Bay. Rundfunk, Servus TV.
Also orders among other creative art fields - for printed media advertisement for Perry Rhodan followed.
At the moment the artist co-operates also with a well-known manufacturer for Airbrush, Bodypaint colors and equipment.
In the recent time the multi-talent Christine Dumbsky completely breaks through the barriers of the work with brush and/or Airbrush - by composing also own music for her presentations. Also in this profession fast the first acknowledgment came, where she won a composition competition with more than 5000 participants and her victorious song was published on CD
