Ukrainian born actress Milla Jovovich, famous for the action horror Resident Evil movies, is preparing to move on after the release of the last episode in the franchise, the Final Chapter.
"It's definitely hard to say goodbye but at the same time it's been an incredible run," she said of the six movie series, "It's been such a beautiful journey for me and I love it, I love it so much. I hope my action career doesn't come to an end with Resident Evil because I love doing stunts, I love doing the action bit but you know, it's been incredible."
The series also saw Jovovich marrying director Paul Anderson and the family affair took a new twist with nine year old daughter Ever Gabo Anderson following in her mother's footsteps making her film debut and joining the cast.
"She asked me if she could be an actress when she was five and I told her she had to go to class, she had to go to acting class every weekend and she did, surprisingly, and she's very committed and very professional and she says 'Mum, I found my passion.' So I'm not going to stand in her way. I just want to make sure she works really hard and realises her dreams," Jovovich said.
Playing the role of Alice in the series since 2002 earned Jovovich the title 'Queen of kick butt,' an honour she is proud off.
"I think it's amazing. I think women need to feel powerful and I know when I saw Sigourney Weaver play in Aliens it blew my mind. I never knew that a women could do something like that and I feel very proud to be part of a franchise that empowers women, that shows little girls that they can do anything and they can kick anyone's butt no matter who it is or what it is," Jovovich said.
Releases this year will see her in Future World with James Franco about a boy searching for a cure for his dying mother and Rob Reiner's Iraq War journalism drama Shock and Awe with Woody Harrelson and Tommy Lee Jones.
In London on Thursday (February 02), to take part in a groundbreaking immersive theatrical launch for the Toyota C-HR Jovovich said "I think it's very artistic and it gives people an opportunity to express themselves in a way that's different and unique and you know also it's a great car so it deserves something amazing to go along with it, not just a normal car launch. This is something different, something you've never seen."
Toyota said the C-HR is a radical new design called a Coupe High-Rider and is available with a fully hybrid powertrain.
