ESPN let’s go of another longtime reporter. John Clayton will be laid off from ESPN after 23 years of covering the NFL. "The professor" will continue his radio show for ESPN, KIRO-AM in Seattle, but will end all television and website appearances. The layoff comes a month after ESPN announced the departure of 100 employees, including Brett McMurphy and Ed Werder.
