The Beast in the East is an upcoming professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It will take place on July 4, 2015 at Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It will air live on the WWE Network and live on J Sports in Japan. A replay will air on J Sports 4 in Japan. Additionally, it will be available on demand on both the WWE Network and J Sports. It will be the first WWE event to be broadcast live from Japan. The Beast in the East will feature professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's primary television programs, Raw, SmackDown and NXT. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.
