Dolores O‘Riordan has died suddenly at the age of 46.
The cause of her death is unknown.
According to her publicist, the Irish singer and songwriter died in London during a recording trip.
O‘Riordan is known as the lead singer of The Cranberries, an alternative rock band from Ireland.
But she and guitarist Noel Hogan were the band's chief songwriters.
Formed in Limerick in 1989, The Cranberries hit it big four years later with their first full-length album, which sold over 5 million copies.
