This little one was trying to survive, just like us humans. This was a very bittersweet moment. It's also a rare moment, as one rarely gets to spend this much time close to a subway rat at all, as they're quick to run away. i ran into a subway worker who was also compassionate towards this little one, and said he tried to give them food. We both wondered where their mother was. Most humans there simply ignored the little one, or were scared.
