2017 was a hard but empowering year for women.
It started with the inauguration of Donald Trump and ended with the #MeToo movement.
The Women's March was one of the biggest protests in United States history.
But critics say activists did not accomplish any of their goals in 2017.
That does not mean the Women's Rights Movement is dead.
According to Emily's List 2017 saw a 2100% increase in the number of women expressing interest in running for office.
Many feminist activists are working hard to make sure that 2018 finally be the year when Women's voices are heard.
They are also purging their ranks of divisive and troublesome figures who could bring unnecessary ire to the cause.
