O primavera, gioventú dell’anno, SV 68 is a madrigal composed by Claudio Monteverdi. Originally scored for 5 voices (SSATB) and continuo, it is here presented for brass quartet. The piece was first published in 1592 in Il Terzo libro di Madgrali (No.9). The Italian lyrics of the piece were written by Giovanni Battista Guarini.
