As someone who drives an awful lot of miles in supercars, for this Fuel For Thought I wanted to dive into some of the numbers to give you real world feedback on cars like the Porsche 911 GT3 and Mercedes-AMG GT R and what bills they have run up to use almost daily.
With over 10,000 miles on my AMG GT R in just 6 months and already around 4,000 miles on the 911 GT3 in only just over a month, they are two cars I can delve right into. Also in the garage we can think about some longer term aspects of the McLaren 675LT Spider and Aston Martin Vantage GT8. Perhaps there's a separate discussion of what actually counts as a supercar, but for the purposes of this video we'll count the GT R and GT3 as within that fold. Alongside the actual costs though, what are they like to daily drive, is it even sensible to begin with?
If you'd like to see more FFT videos, please do let me know what you'd like to hear about.
Thanks for watching, Tim
