The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 75 points or zero-point-three percent to 24,811.
The S&P 500 was down zero-point-two percent while the Nasdaq was virtually unchanged.

The benchmark KOSPI fell a quarter-of-a-percent to 2,466.
