We built this miniature bus from scratch. First we built a dune buggy, then we engineered this bus around the dune buggy frame making it miniature bus. We had the head sign manufacturer make a miniature head sign. We made miniature wiper blades, bicycle rack, etc. The doors are actually hydraulic. We used the bus in local parades, special events, and school transportation days. We named it the Little Dipper, as the name of the transit system was StarMetro. It took almost a year to build. It could have 2 passengers, and we held contests for a winner to ride in the parades.
