According to Reuters, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell thinks the US economy is on a clear track with years of growth just ahead.
During a congressional hearing with a group of senators, the Fed chair added that they expect the job market to remain strong, while keeping inflation near their intended target of 2-percent.
But Chairman Powell reiterated that the Fed still thinks the best way forward is to gradually increase interest rates.
