The introductory theme with "pizzicato" is taken from the second movement of the quartet in F major by Ravel. I thank Professor Roberta Vacca who assisted me during the writing of the piece, which took place some years ago while I was attending his course of music theory at the Conservatory of L'Aquila.
The work behind this production is the following:
• I wrote the music.
• I switched between the various techniques and types of executions for each virtual instrument to reproduce a real execution.
• I produced the glissandos through the software MaxMSP because they are not available in the VST.
• I manipulated and mixed the dynamics operating directly on the sound.
• I placed the instruments in the stereo acoustic space.
I'm not a visual artist. The video I made, acts as a visual support to the music track.
