Sure God is crazy in love with you, leading you, not leaving you -- ever! But you did sin, you did have sex before marriage or dugs or idolatry, coveting, etc. The Torah says to stone anyone who did this and Torah requires punishment for sins. Listen to me please and do not take this the wrong way, but the reason you are full of anxiety and distress is because you have broken the law of God. Although the Holy Spirit is with you and in your heart and conscience, your entire SPIRIT needs to be replaced with a new one, Christ must enter your body physically. Having the Holy Spirit through faith in your heart is not enough to make it across the finish line. Keep reading please before you post against me
Each human being has an entity in them that is making them sin. That entity has to be judged.
You may get a human rest but not HIS REST. To enter Gods own rest and to see god face to face you have to get the baptism of Fire, as Jesus called it. This is something to pray for and pray about. Jesus will Himself show you dreams or visions about it if you sincerely hate this entity that is in you that causes you to sin. Ask Jesus for a vision at night about this.
Until you actually feel the full extent of your guilt and stop running from it, acknowledge your guilt or he will remain in the secret place and you will be tossed to and fro from wave to wave in your faith and the devil will come to bother you in dreams and tempt you on a daily level.
Ask Jesus for a dream about the living water being given and how to see him face to face from heaven for real. If you do as I command I will show myself to you, said Jesus in John 14:21 He was not kidding and was being serious, so ask Him with a serious attitude and watch what happens.
