Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade or DPIIT called for a round-table meeting on January 4. This meeting saw prominent angel investors, representatives of startup community, industry bodies such as IVCA and Indian Software Products Industry Round Table (iSPIRT) discuss concerns on taxation of angel funds.
