The blockade imposed by protesters seeking the closure of the Koodankulam Nuclear plant is making it increasingly difficult to keep systems operational. Now there is a real and present danger to the Rs 13,000-crore Koodankulam nuclear power plant getting severly damaged. But there seems to be some glimmer of hope as former President APJ Abdul Kalam has reached the nuclear plant at Koodankulam. Kalam, a popular scientist himself, is likely to be a mediator and is also likely to take stock as well.
