Addressing a joint session of the both houses of the parliament, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee took a dig at corruption and inflation in the country. He also narrated a road map for the newly formed Narendra Modi government in the country. He asked them not leave any room for corruption and be strict against blackmarketeers and hoarders to control prices.
He also asked the BJP-led NDA government to assure minimum government with maximum governance.
During his address, he also conveyed a message to the newly elected MPs that they should never forget that their duty is to serve people who have elevated them to parliament through their votes.
"We should never forget that we are here because of them (electorate) and serving them should be our first priority," he said.
He listed few directives for the BJP government emphasizing on the need of quick action against price rise.
