A Central Bureau of Investigation special court in Patna has sentenced a Bihar Police Inspector to death. Shamse Alam was an Inspector of Police.
He is the mastermind in the infamous Ashiana fake encounter case of 2002. A Deputy SP and three other policemen have been sentenced to life by the same court.
Three college students were killed by the Patna police in a fake encounter.
