Former Nalbari District Municipality Chairman Chandra Kalita passes away at the age of 86 on Thursday at around 5.10 pm.
Noted Chairman Chandra Kalita was a famous social worker as well.
Reportedly, Chandra Kalita was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Guwahati.
On Friday, the mortal remains of former municipality chairman was brought to his native place in Nalbari.
