These startling images show how a motorbike accident on a mountain road started a fire which quickly spread and burnt 1,000 hectares of land. The fire was reported in the municipality of Robledo de Chavela located in the mountains of the central Spanish community of Madrid on 2nd July. In an exclusive statement to Newsflash, official emergency spokesman Luis Serrano confirmed that the first video shows the origin of the fire, which was started by the motorcycle accident. The footage filmed by the bikers show the fire after it had just started, the man filming can be heard saying: “Roberto has fallen off his bike, thankfully he is ok, but the bike was in a bad condition and exploded and started the fire and look now there is fire everywhere.” The images show the fire spreading around to the surrounding areas as the man zooms in on what is left of the burning bike.
