김대중 대통령 서거 11주기 추도식 개최
Today marks the eleventh anniversary since the death of former late South Korean president Kim Dae-jung.
A ceremony marking his passing will be held at Seoul National Cemetery at 10am, Korea time.... with leading political figures in attendance.
The Kim Dae-jung Peace Center, an organization founded to promote inter-Korean reconciliation and world peace,... said the group downsized this year's event due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Known as a life-long campaigner for democracy and human rights, Kim received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2000 for his efforts in restoring democracy and improving relations with North Korea.
