Marcel Pinte, known as Quinquin, "died for France" in 1944 at the age of 6. His name is engraved on the war memorial in Aixe-sur-Vienne in central France, where he was a liaison officer for the network of resistance fighters formed by his father, Eugène Pinte. A ceremony pays tribute to the boy considered the youngest resistance fighter in France.
