There is to be a new arrangement for the structure that governs the four Atlantic LNG Trains in Point Lisas.
The announcement was made by the Energy Minister during the opening session of the Energy Chamber's Energy Conference on Monday.
It was a session that also explored cleaner LNG, carbon capture and increased oil exploration.
