The Federal sports minister Richard Colbeck is defending a 5-million dollar pre-election grant to a swimming pool in a marginal coalition seat, by suggesting all political parties make election commitments. The money came from the coalition's controversial 150-million dollar female facilities and water safety stream, which the government has been accused of using to sandbag marginal seats.
