Political mercury has risen in Uttar Pradesh regarding the Rajya Sabha elections. Samajwadi Party has decided the names of its three candidates today. SP has finalized the names of Kapil Sibal, Dimple Yadav and Javed Ali Khan. Kapil Sibal also filed his nomination on Wednesday.
Let us inform that elections are to be held for 57 seats falling vacant in the Rajya Sabha, out of which 11 seats are from UP. Nomination for this has started which will continue till May 31. Scrutiny will be done on 1st June and nomination will be returned by 3rd June. Votes will be cast on June 10 from 9 am to 4 pm. Counting of votes will take place on the same day from 5 pm.
Samajwadi Party announced its three candidates today. Among the names announced for the Rajya Sabha, the name of Congress leader Kapil Sibal surprised everyone. After which suddenly there was a stir in the political environment. Kapil Sibal went to the Samajwadi Party office and met the party's national president Akhilesh Yadav. After that Sibal also filed his nomination. Kapil Sibal nominated for Rajya Sabha in Lucknow.
