A Victorian court has cleared the way for the father of one of George Pell's alleged victims to continue civil action against the catholic church and the cardinal. The father of a deceased choirboy who was allegedly abused by Cardinal Pell is suing for compensation despite the cardinal's criminal conviction being quashed by the high court.
