Violent crime is not only being looked at as a public health emergency in this country.
The Prime Minister of Jamaica says his government is taking a similar approach to that being pursued by this country's Prime Minister.
It was one of the issues they discussed during bi-lateral talks at the Diplomatic Centre today as Jamaica's Prime Minister is in Trinidad and Tobago on an official visit.
