Marvel Snap is a game that is only available if you have a phone, compatible moreover, that can run Android or iOS (the iPhone). Only, there is a trick to playing on PC. According to the support of Nuverse and Second Dinner Studios, playing on an emulator is tolerated.
While there are no real iOS emulators on the market, this is not the case for Android, far from it.
In fact, there are plenty of programs that can run Android applications, Marvel Snap included.
For this guide/tutorial, we're going to use the BlueStacks software, for three reasons: the developer promotes the game, which is a guarantee that it works well, it's well optimized and, moreover, it's highly reliable. Of course, it is not entirely free (occasional ads), but that is still acceptable.
How to play Marvel Snap on your PC:
- Download the software on bluestacks.com.
- Open the file, then click on Install now. The software will install itself quietly.
- After the installation, open the software (which should be in the start menu).
- The emulator should ask you for your GMAIL account. If you don't have one, create one. If you already have one, enter your login and password. For the latter, we strongly advise you to copy and paste it from an application like "Notepad", to be sure that the password is accepted.
- Finish the configuration by validating everything you want or not.
- You are normally on the Application Center. As soon as you see Marvel Snap (it is an app recommended by the emulator), click on it.
- A window will open (Google Play). Just click on "Install" and validate. Marvel Snap will download and install automatically.
- When it is done, you can either click on "open" or go to "My Applications" and click on Marvel Snap. The program will open and set itself to the correct ratio. Have fun!
If you already have a Marvel Snap account on Android, you can play with it, freely, on your smartphone and PC. To do so, do like this:
- In Settings (the Wheel at the top right of the main menu), click on Google Play Login. If you have already done so, go to the next step and if not, press the button and validate, until "Online" appears.
- In the emulator, after downloading the game, finish the first tutorial. Then press Settings and log in to your Google Play account (the same as your smartphone's). If necessary, add the right account.
- When this is done, press Yes and you're done.
