The life of 32-year-old Darren Nandlal, a Central Bank employee was snuffed out by gunmen as he desperately tried to protect his wife from the armed intruders who entered their Carapichiama home last night and shot him inside his bedroom.
Nandlal's killing pushed the country's murder count to 350 for the year.
