Hip-hop star Saweetie turned a regular interaction into a viral moment when she went above and beyond to recognize a fan’s hard work.
After a fan approached Saweetie recently to gift her some custom gear he’d made, the “Icy Girl” hitmaker instead insisted on paying him. Saweetie proceeded to pull some cash out of her bedazzled bikini top and say “thank you” for the fan’s custom designs.
The gesture earned Saweetie a ton of praise online by fans who were impressed with how the platinum-selling star interacts with the public.
Saweetie has been in the headlines a lot in 2021, from her comedic cooking skills to her more serious breakup with Migos member Quavo.
The West Coast native released an EP of new music in April, which included the song “Risky,” in which she addresses the end of her relationship.
Saweetie’s official debut album is scheduled for later this year.
