Carnival was opened in downtown Port of Spain seeing a King and Queen of J’ouvert crowned.
As reporter Alicia Boucher tells us, Mayor Chinua Alleyne believes this event should take centre stage but admits there's room for improvement, as J’ouvert has been seeing fewer and fewer spectators.
