EBONY's 2022 Power 100 gala was the perfect combination of joy, fellowship and star power. The red carpet was no different as luminaries from across the Black community came through and shined brightly.
Media personality Tanika Ray held down the red carpet for EBONY and chatted it up with awardees and special guests during the evening to reflect on the legacy of EBONY Power 100 Icon Award honoree Spike Lee and People's Choice Award honoree Issa Rae. Many shared memories of their favorite Spike Lee movies and what Issa Rae's representation through work like "Insecure" meant for the culture.
