While some members of the public have reported issues with getting self-help grants, allegedly due to the Commission not having a Board, Minister of Community Development Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis says this is a strange development, as the business of the Commission should have continued as normal.
However, she says an auditing issue may have led to a hold on some projects, but she has assured us that both issues have since been resolved.
