Transylvania's Dracula Castle becomes Halloween magnet for worldwide fans
Bran Castle in Romania, renowned for its resemblance to Count Dracula's castle, welcomed costumed tourists in search of a true Halloween experience on Saturday, November 2.
Perched on a rock outcrop overlooking a river, Bran Castle is the closest match in the Transylvania region to the home of the fictional vampire depicted in Bram Stoker's 1897 novel, as per the castle's website.
The site, a former fortress and residence of Romanian royalty, attracts visitors due to its historical significance and its association with Dracula.
