Public health officials have warned that raw milk contaminated with the bird flu virus may have been sold in Los Angeles County. The contamination was identified in a batch bottled on November 9 by Raw Farm Milk, LLC, based in Fresno. Although the batch was later tested negative for the virus by both the farm's owner and state authorities, consumers are advised to avoid milk with lot code 20241109 and Best By date of 11/27/2024 due to potential risks. The warning was issued by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health.
