Russia’s Defense Minister Andrei Belousov said that the military has been making steady gains in Ukraine.
He claimed that Russian gains have accelerated recently, with Russian forces capturing about 30 square kilometers of territory a day.
Since the year’s start, the military has signed contracts with more than 427,000 volunteer soldiers, Belousov said.
