NU moves closer to twice-to-beat edge after win over UE
The NU Lady Bulldogs vented their ire on the UE Lady Warriors, 25-8, 25-22, 25-12, at the PhilSports Arena on April 9, 2025 to move on the cusp of at least a top two finish which merits a Final Four twice-to-beat incentive in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament. Bouncing back from its shock 5-set loss to Adamson, NU improved to a league-best record of a 10-2 slate and a victory against Ateneo next timeout will secure the Sherwin Meneses-mentored team the Final Four bonus. Bella Belen hammered 14 points, 13 excellent digs, and eight receptions to lead the Lady Bulldogs, who kept the Lady Warriors winless at 0-12.
