Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) ne budhwar, 9 April ko Nuovo Pignone International ke saath ek memorandum of understanding (MoU) sign kiya.
Yeh MoU Indian fertilizer sector mein compressor revamp opportunities ko address karne ke liye sign kiya gaya hai, BHEL ne apne regulatory filing mein kaha.
Yeh 10 saal ka agreement ek strategic tie-up hai business sharing ke liye Nuovo Pignone International ke saath, PSU ne bataya.
“BHEL main (lead) bidder hoga un customers ke liye jo Fertilizer sector mein compressors train revamp business opportunities ko address karenge, aur M/s Nuovo Pignone International s.r.l. ko BHEL ka nominated vendor banaya gaya hai is MoU ke tehat, jisme unka specific scope of work tay kiya gaya hai,” yeh bhi kaha gaya.
Is strategic tie-up ke baad, BHEL ko lagbhag 50% business share milega financial terms mein. Company se yeh bhi umeed hai ki woh fertilizer research aur manufacturing (R&M) business mein bhi sudhaar karegi.
Is agreement ko sign karne ke liye koi upfront payment nahi hua hai, kyunki dono parties apne-apne scope of work ke liye zimmedar rahenge.
